横浜市英語塾 ゆとり教育の結果 Yutori (Relaxed) Education and the Argument
Everyone over the age of suffrage has an opinion of the Japanese government's huge stance change on education that began in the late 70s. The older the age cohort, the more bitter and spite filled their arguments become. But with old people on average, things were always better in their day, and there is nothing those young inexperienced whipper snappers could say or do that could match the old days where hard work and honesty were commonplace. Yadda yadda yadda. The younger generations only see and hear how inferior they are socially and economically to their elders, so they had better listen to their betters if they want to succeed in this tough world that eats the weak. It doesn't help that any chance that they have to climb the corporate ladder is jammed pack with old fogeys that just won't die or retire to make way for new blood with new ideas. All new opportunities that they find for themselves, they get ridiculed for following a path less travelled.
What does this have to do with anything? I am just setting the scene that Japan found itself in the 70s and 80s. Oh wait, have things changed at all?
選挙権のある年齢以上の人は誰でも、70年代後半に始まった日本政府 の教育に対する大きな姿勢の変化について意見を持っている。年齢層 が高くなればなるほど、彼らの議論はより厳しく、悪意に満ちたもの になります。まあしかし、対外の老人の場合は、自分たちの時代が常 に状況は良かったので、経験の浅い若物の言動で、勤勉と誠実さが当 たり前だった昔に匹敵するものは何もありません。なんちゃらなんち ゃら。若い世代は、自分たちが年長者に比べて社会的、経済的にどれ だけ劣っているかしか見聞きしないので、弱肉強食の厳しい世界で成 功したいのであれば、年長者の言うことを聞いたほうがよいでしょ う。彼らが出世の梯子を登らなければならないチャンスが、新しいア イデアを持った新しい血に道を譲るために死ぬことも退職することも しない古い愚か者たちで詰まっているのは助けにはなりません。彼ら は自分たちで新たな機会を見つけますが、人があまり通っていない道 をたどると嘲笑されます。 これは何か関係があるのでしょうか？、70 年代と 80 年代に日本が見 ていた光景を設定しているだけです。あれ、もしかして今と何も変わ ってない？
