The temperature dropped like crazy today and sure enough it started snowing .

今日は気温が異常に下がり、案の定雪が降り始めました。

It started really wet and heavy.

始まりの雪は本当に濡れていて重かった。

But by the evening came around, a light powder covered the slush and made things look ethereal.  It was great.

しかし、夕方が来ると、軽い粉雪がべちゃ雪を覆い、幻想的に見えました。
