So the creation of a space elevator, or better yet, a belt of space elevators ringing the equator would ideally bring homelessness to an end on our planet.  Not only homelessness, but also resource scarity should come to an end.  Everyone should have all their basic needs met and should have not worries beyond finding out what they want to do with their lives.

That leads me to think, what will humans do if all their needs are met without them working for it?

宇宙エレベーターの建設、あるいはさらに良く言えば、赤道を周回す
る宇宙エレベーターのベルトの建設は、理想的には地球上でホームレ
スをなくすことになるでしょう。ホームレスだけでなく、資源不足も
終焉を迎えるはずです。誰もが基本的なニーズをすべて満たしている
必要があり、自分の人生で何をしたいのかを見つける以上の心配をす
べきではありません。

そこで、もし働かずにすべてのニーズが満たされたら、人間はどうするだろうかと考えます。
