I was planning on making this the last entry talking about the heat and humidity here, but we're in the middle of a triple typhoon rush that's dumping water all over the islands.

I had a little laught to myself when I first heard of the news talking about the 'Triple Typhoon'.  It sounded like a special attack move that a pro-wrestler or anime character would come up with to defeat their greatest rival.

ここの暑さと湿気について書くのはこれで最後にしようと思っていま
したが、今は三連の台風の真っ最中で、島中に雨をまき散らしていま
す。

「トリプル台風」について話しているニュースを初めて聞いたとき、
ひとりで笑ってしまいました。それはプロレスラーやアニメのキャラ
が因縁のライバルを倒すために編み出す攻撃技のように聞こえまし
た。
