I was amazed at how detailed the fossil for the ankylosaur skin was. You can get a real accurate feel for how the skin surface of this giant was pebbled like some modern lizards. That also made me wonder about what color it may have been.
After telling my wife how ankylosaurians were my favorite type of dinosaur, she replied sayting, 'Of course, it looks just like you.' Short stubby legs, wide flat feet, broad abdomen, and a head as hard as plate armor. Ah, that makes sense.
