A couple of days ago I heard a familiar sound outside and went for a look. And to my surprise, this is what I saw.
And today, I came in and saw a wonderful thing, a fully constructed nest with a lodger.
Unfortunately, I have also seen some crows loitering around. I can only hope that they leave the little friends alone and let them start a happy, noisy family.
