During a private lesson, the other day, we were doing some research on rockets and came across a cool footnote in rocket history.  After World War 2, there was an effort to send mail by rocket.  The plan was to use guided missiles to send mail or packages to a person's front door in record time.

Fortunately, people came to their senses.

先日、プライベート レッスンで、ロケットについて調べていたところ、ロケットの歴史に関する面白い脚注を見つけました。第二次世界大戦後、ロケットで郵便を送る試みがありました。計画は、誘導ミサイルを使用して、郵便物や小包を記録的な速さで人の玄関まで送ることでした。

幸いなことに、人々は正気を取り戻しました。
