Ten years and a lot has changed.  After the world stopped shaking, things seemed to fly by.  I became a father, started a school and seemingly blinked.  Like Rip van Winkle I feel like I am in a new world.  I have two kids that can walk and talk, students that are now preparing to go to junior and senior high, as well as university.  I think to myself, "This must be a joke!", but then I look at my waistline and hairline, and realize "Oh, yeah.  That makes sense".

Here's to another 10 years of change!

10年で多くの変化がありましたね。世界の揺れが止まった後、物事は一瞬で通り過ぎたようだった。自分は父親になり、学校を立って、まばたきしたように見えました。リップヴァンウィンクルのように、私は新しい世界にいるような気がします。私には、歩いたり話したりできる2人の子供がいます。現在、中学と高校、そして大学に行く準備をしている学生もいます。 「これは冗談だろう！」と思うのですが、腹と頭を見て、「ああ、そうだね。それはそうだね～」と気付く。
